HeyMeta, operated by Simon Wilby, respects the privacy rights of California residents and complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page describes your rights under California law and how to exercise them.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months, including the categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and third parties with whom we share it.
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as completing a transaction, detecting security incidents, or complying with legal obligations).
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing
You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. HeyMeta does not sell your personal information. We may share certain information with third-party advertising partners, which you can opt out of.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary for providing services you request.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, provide a different level of service, or suggest that you may receive a different price or level of service for exercising your rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of your CCPA rights, you may:

We will verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Response Timing
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days. If we require more time (up to 90 days total), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
"Do Not Track" Signals
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want your online activity tracked. Our website currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but you can opt out of targeted advertising through our cookie settings.
Financial Incentives
HeyMeta does not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information that require opt-in consent under CCPA.
